Star 94.7’s Unsung Hero Award is a program that recognizes the important contributions of so many people in our community who give their time and resources, without publicity or fanfare, to help others in times of need.  Star’s Unsung Hero Award pays monthly tribute to those ordinary people doing extraordinary things and is one of the very best ways to promote and further encourage the type of day-to-day, grass roots activities that make our neighborhoods better places to live and raise our children. There are thousands of good deeds being done by thousands of good people every day in Youngstown/Warren and they are often overlooked. Help us recognize them and all the good in our community so that we can publicly praise the good that brightens lives in our neighborhoods.
