Singer/songwriter Sebastian Mikael has just returned with his latest musical offering, the new EP “Paradigm Shift”.

The project takes fans on a musical journey showcasing Mikael’s continued evolution as an artist. The EP includes appearances from Emmavie and Theophonixx. Reflecting on the meaning behind PARADIGM SHIFT, Mikael shares,

“If you change your thoughts, you change your life. PARADIGM SHIFT represents a change of perspective. Your thought-life shapes your reality, so be careful what you allow to enter your mind.”

This is the follow up to his most recently released EP “Phileo” from 2022.

Alicia Keys has just released the visual for her song “Kaleidoscope” featuring  Maleah Joi Moon from her Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen.

The video features a colorful cast of extras to showcase a true New York kaleidoscope of music, dance and community.  Filmed entirely at Manhattan Plaza, the video is a love letter to the Hell’s Kitchen community where Alicia Keys was born and raised. From Manhattan Plaza’s courtyard to the Ellington Room where Alicia first learned to play the piano,  the visual soars with the magic of the city, a world full of hopes and dreams and the long-held belief of every New Yorker that “anything is possible here.”

The video was directed by Kajal and features an all-female directing team. Keys adds about the video:

“This video is so special to me, it captures the spirit of Hell’s Kitchen, the place I grew up, and the new musical we’ve worked so hard to bring to life! One that is now debuting on Broadway on 4/20! I’m so proud to showcase a place I call home, and the amazing community that helped make me who I am today. It also showcases the special cast of Hell’s Kitchen who are incredible artists and have that same feeling I do, we live in a concrete jungle where DREAMS are made of! This City holds a lot of hope. I want people to feel inspired by that hope, the song, the music, the movement, the lifestyle and the video.”

Hell’s Kitchen is currently in performances and officially opens on April 20th at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre.

Musical duo Louis York (aka Claude Kelly & Chuck Harmony) are back at it again with their fresh new single “Puppet Strings” featuring PJ Morton.

This is the fourth single released from the group’s upcoming EP “Songs With Friends”. Also released is a visual to accompany the song which was directed by Jae Hale.

“Puppet Strings” represents a seamless fusion of musical brilliance, as Louis York and PJ Morton join forces to create a song that resonates deeply with the human experience. The track showcases the duo’s signature blend of soul, R&B, and pop, enveloping listeners in a sonic journey that is both soul-stirring and uplifting.

Berklee College of Music will present an honorary Doctor of Music degree to Ledisi at its 2024 commencement ceremony on May 11th at Boston University’s Agganis Arena.

The commencement festivities will include a concert at the Arena with a global cast of over 200 student vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, arrangers, and track producers from the graduating class, who will perform a musical tribute to Ledisi’s acclaimed body of work.

Ledisi is currently celebrating the success of her recently released 11th album “Good Life” as well as the tour to accompany the project.

The ceremony will allow her to be celebrated and recognized for her invaluable contributions to the world of music and her philanthropic endeavors.

Berklee’s honorary doctorate recipients are recognized for their outstanding achievements and their impact on the music industry. Past recipients from the college include Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, Celine Dion, and Missy Elliott, among other renowned artists.

Grammy winning singer/songwriter Tori Kelly has just released her long awaited new album “TORI.” via Epic Records.

The project is Kelly’s fifth studio album overall and was executive produced by Jon Bellion. It features 15 all new songs with an eclectic mix of guest contributions, including features from Ayra Starr, KIM CHAEWON of kpop band LE SSERAFIM, and Jon Bellion himself.

It includes previously shared, fan-favorite songs like “missin u,” “shelter,” and “cut,” plus recent single “high water.”

Last year, Tori Kelly began laying the groundwork for TORI. with the release of tori, a seven-track prelude to the album featuring a range of styles and sounds that showcase the true Tori. It set the stage for the most versatile and vulnerable project of the artist’s career, weaving together sonics and songwriting that represent the full picture of a woman coming into her own. She adds:

“This album is an expression of every side of me; some of them I’ve never shown before. I decided to name it ‘TORI.’ because this music is me confidently stepping into myself as an artist and as a woman.”
