Known as the “Windy City,” Chicago’s rich musical history lives on with the relaunch of Chi-Sound Music Group’s, debut collaboration featuring Marshall Thompson (of the legendary Chi-Lites), Denroy Morgan (renowned Reggae pioneer) and songwriter/producer Guy Daniel, known as The GDVO.
With the recent upset and unrest across the globe, The GDVO opted not to wait until the UN International Day of Peace on September 21, 2021 and use the healing power of music to support closing the deep international divide with their debut release of the aptly titled, “PEACE.”
All media outlets are encouraged to join the global “PEACE” movement on Wednesday, January 2021 at 12:01 pm (EST) immediately following Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris and President-Elect Joe Biden taking the Oath of Office. Additionally, The GDVO and Chi-Sound Music Group will utilize the hashtags #PeaceDay and #GivePeaceAChance across social media platforms on January 21st.
